Biography
Iqbal-e-Rasul; a language, communication and teacher training professional; brings in more than a decade of experience in language and communication training. He holds an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and is a Cambridge CELTA certified teacher of English language with specialization in Adult learner development. With experience across education, corporate and development sectors with a special experience in a multilingual teaching setting (students from 19 countries), he has developed distinctive insight into learner aspects and has an individualist approach that focuses on all kinds of technical growth of individual learners.
Iqbal-e-Rasul started off his career with tertiary level teaching and IELTS and Language Skills and Communication training in 2008. Advancing through the passage of time, he got involved in corporate level Business Communication and Soft Skills training for different renowned corporate companies and MNC’s. His inception into teacher training happened through his joining in the project English in Action that provided unprecedented insight into government primary level English teaching scenarios. As one of the chief trainers, he worked with a cohort of 25,000 government teachers in terms of training them on how to teach English using the latest recommended approach in the then field; collaborating with the British Council and other international agencies deemed “global leaders” in the English language teaching arena. He has provided training in companies like Rahimafrooz, A B Bank, One Bank, KDS Garments, Apex Footwear, CEPZ, Indesore, BACCO, Coats Bangladesh and the like.
He has trained more than 1300 IELTS candidates with an average between 6.5 to 8 band scores secured by his candidates, since 2008. He specializes especially in assisting candidates who feel stuck at a performance - level and cannot break free to perform better. His individualist focus helps each student identify his or her challenge - areas, and work through their deficiencies to emerge as greater communicator of English language. His methodical approach utilizes candidates individual learning strategy and preferences, natural aptitude, personal intelligence types, affective barriers and inhibitions and other subjective aspects that are vital parts of each learner’s language acquisition process. As a result, with sincere effort on a regular basis, each candidate is certain to achieve much better result than before.
